Routine

So I’ve been struggling lately.

My diet has been okay. I’ve been continuing to make far more good choices than bad. I feel like I’ve been doing myself proud.

That said, I’ve been really struggling with my fitness level and workout routine. I’ve been in the office 8-5 all week and that’s really cramped my style to a certain extent. I know that the common cliché is that when you have a routine it helps with your workout regimen. I’m hoping that starts being the case with me, shortly.

I really appreciate encouragement from readers and followers and the group dynamic of this is something that really pushes me to succeed. Thanks, everyone.

New Protein Powder!!!

So I ordered 4ever Fit Whey Protein off of Amazon — the Vanilla Shake flavor. It got here today and my first smoothie with it was amazing. So freaking stoked.

Also, I played golf this morning with a friend who noted my sleeker figure. That felt good and was definitely an encouragement.

Yay!

Just a thought

Forget what is behind you and strain toward what is ahead.

Rewards

So a lot of the blogs I follow have posted little rewards that they plan on buying for themselves when they reach their goal weights. I figured that this is a great incentive, and so I decided to do it for myself.

Goal weight #2 - 230 lbs - new workout clothes / shoes.

Goal weight #3 - 220 lbs - pilates classes

Goal weight #4 - 210 lbs - new suit / dress shirt

New smoothie recipe

Okay, I just tried this tonight. It was amazing and I wanted to share.

6-8 ounces of orange juice.

3-4 ice cubes.

4 strawberries

3/4 - 1 scoop of protein powder

De. Lic. Ious! Seriously, go try it.
